Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I see Putin, the villages, tre45on, Russia, corrupt Joe and low iq are trending on twitter in the USA.

    Normal day so.

You'd think tre45on would have more legs seeing as he was calling for Russia to be readmitted to the G8 right after being told about what they were doing...

Most people couldn't be bothered to read and educate themselves on something like that. Easier to watch some old duffers on golf carts swearing at one another. Maybe make a gif of it.

You aren't getting it. Logic and reason gone out the window.

"Cities opened up" what does that mean?
Phased reopening just like here because cases were dropping consistently.

Protests started spread to 2000 cities and towns. Head of allergies and infectious diseases says protests carry a risk of starting second wave.

    Weeks later new cases spike.

Still waiting on your evidence of a link between protests and spikes in cases

    I wouldn't bother

That poster asked someone to provide evidence for a claim

When they posted a load of evidence as requested EM1000 went on to say they hadn't read it and only asked so that the poster would waste their time collating it.

Debates in bad faith, not worth the effort.

Was that the episode they got their ban for?

Dunno, this was only the other day, search post history to find out which thread.

All I know is I wouldn't bother interacting after it, was a disgraceful way to behave and just goes to show that some people will @$%₩;¥ a thread and think its great fun.

Indeed it is this thread, after Overheal's long response

If she wasn't his daughter he'd be dating her?? What? Out of context surely!

Not really any context there. They were both on a talk show together years and years ago when asked what they had most in common her answer was something about the business iirc and when it was his turn to answer he just piped up by saying “sex,” and then went on to explain in a few words that he’d be dating his daughter if they weren’t related.

    Yeah common sense.

Protests lasting weeks in 2000 cities and towns throughout the country lasting weeks.
Cases were dropping before protests started now they are rising again.

People here saying that the trump rally is a cause . That was in one area for night. Multiply that by 2000 and lasting a couple of weeks.
    Its not rocket science

Then we would be seeing a uniform spike across those cities. We aren’t. Spikes are happening in red states that pushed opening early and have not had great signaling about wearing masks and taking precautions. That’s why florida, texas etc. are going back on lockdown in many respects.

How can you say on one hand that the Trump rally could spread the virus but on the other that events like this wouldn't spread the virus.

This picture was played out in 2000 Us towns and cities.

You've linked a pic where it looks like the vast majority are wearing masks. Can you link a similar pic of the rally where the majority are wearing masks?

Terrible that you don't have the courage of your convictions to post evidence or proof, but then again as shown before, that's your modus operandi

    I give up.

Your reasoning was pretty sound, logically mass protests would encourage the spread of the virus. However someone showed a pretty robust data set showing the increase of new cases in cities/states where the mass protests didn't occur.

    Would that influence your hypothesis?

No, they were openly bragging about trolling in the thread but got no ban for it. They (and by the looks of it, the person they were trolling), along with some others were given a warning and threat of a red card:

ExMachina1000 - quit it with the petulant responses.

Overheal, extra gravy and others, you're not exactly looking great in this thread either.

Red card and threadban from here on in, no exceptions. Consider this your one and only heads up.

Trump is now (in a likely desperate effort to get people talking about anything but his refusal to take action against his boss in the Kremlin over killing US soldiers) literally tweeting videos of and thanking 'white power'.

I'm coming around to the idea that if he loses in November he will refuse to concede and refuse to leave office and will engineer a constitutional crisis unlike any before seen in the US.

At best he will engage in some kind of scorched earth policy between the election in November and the middle of January IMHO.

I'm surprised we haven't seen the 'mop and bucket brigade' defending Trump on this yet. But then again, while they all might not be racists themselves, Trump being one isn't a deal breaker

Trump have been going on about voter fraud from the Dems.

This NJ.gov release shows it's happening already
Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal today announced voting fraud charges against Paterson City Councilman Michael Jackson, Councilman-Elect Alex Mendez, and two other men in connection with the May 12, 2020 special election in the City of Paterson.
    https://www.nj.gov/oag/newsreleases20/pr20200625a.html
“Today’s charges send a clear message: if you try to tamper with an election in New Jersey, we will find you and we will hold you accountable,” said New Jersey attorney general Gurbir Grewal. “We will not allow a small number of criminals to undermine the public’s confidence in our democratic process.”

I wonder when they will indict McEnany and Trump himself for voter fraud. both have committed it.

and to address your point there will always be instances of voter fraud. that is now what trump is claiming. trump is claiming that there will be widespread voter fraud in an attempt to steal the election.

I actually think that this is just who he is. A disgusting man-child with zero redeeming qualities as a human being. it's easy for people to hide behind the "he's not well mentally" excuse. He's just a scumbag.
