Protests started spread to 2000 cities and towns. Head of allergies and infectious diseases says protests carry a risk of starting second wave.

Weeks later new cases spike.

Not really any context there. They were both on a talk show together years and years ago when asked what they had most in common her answer was something about the business iirc and when it was his turn to answer he just piped up by saying “sex,” and then went on to explain in a few words that he’d be dating his daughter if they weren’t related.

People here saying that the trump rally is a cause . That was in one area for night. Multiply that by 2000 and lasting a couple of weeks.

Then we would be seeing a uniform spike across those cities. We aren’t. Spikes are happening in red states that pushed opening early and have not had great signaling about wearing masks and taking precautions. That’s why florida, texas etc. are going back on lockdown in many respects.

Your reasoning was pretty sound, logically mass protests would encourage the spread of the virus. However someone showed a pretty robust data set showing the increase of new cases in cities/states where the mass protests didn't occur.

I'm coming around to the idea that if he loses in November he will refuse to concede and refuse to leave office and will engineer a constitutional crisis unlike any before seen in the US.

I wonder when they will indict McEnany and Trump himself for voter fraud. both have committed it.

and to address your point there will always be instances of voter fraud. that is now what trump is claiming. trump is claiming that there will be widespread voter fraud in an attempt to steal the election.

I actually think that this is just who he is. A disgusting man-child with zero redeeming qualities as a human being. it's easy for people to hide behind the "he's not well mentally" excuse. He's just a scumbag.
