Rural Fibre Broadband

I live in a rural area and, about 6 months ago, Open Eir fitted a fibre cable across the telecom poles outside my house. They also fitted a distribution point 50 metres up the road on the same cable. Since then I’ve tried to find out when I will get fibre broadband to no avail. I’ve emailed Open Eir several times. They say I am not on their list for imminent connection. When I asked why a fibre cable and distribution point (I gave them the distribution point number) had been installed they stopped replying. How can I proceed?
