    Hi all,

I got a laptop running office 365 on sibscription , the laptop is one of the 5 (or 6?) allowed on the Account. The Account Holder isnt wanting to renew and the "Reactivate Office" message appears on the laptop.

Question - another Account Holder has spare capacity, on the message it says basically "Swap Account". This is what we want to do, what would we need to do to preserve emails, documents and spreadsheets? Will it be a new download and install, possibly leading to loss of data? Or will it just change the Account Holder ?

Emails are not pop3 and it appears at quick glance theres no pst file to be copied for safety.

What is the best way to continue to preserve the security of the data?

    regards

You should not need to reinstall and it should not effect your access to documents as long they on your computer

PST not in use for long time now its OST now, however, you still should be able to export to PST

    File>Open & Export>Export/Import>Export to a file
