This was the Keita goal from the 11v11.

There's gonna be a recording of the whole session available somewhere!

Here's hoping Naby stays injury-free now. He's a game changer when he gets going. Such a shame he's been blighted with injuries since his arrival.

Yeah, definitely... for some of these lads, particularly Mane, Salah, Bobby, and Keita, with the African Nations and Copa America last summer, this is the longest break from football (aside from while injured) they've had in bloody ages! Time to just allow themselves to heal and recover. Really hope this lets them reset a bit and come back fresh and fit.

Love to see a more robust Naby, breaking out of the cycle of recovery and re-injury.

It's pronounced like a full stop.

Would’ve gone with K*nex myself, indicating that the K is silent in a footnote.

Serious layers in that in-joke. :D

Great skill by Curtis but should have buried it. This lad a few more clips on his timeline.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,198 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

    A decent little collection of clips;

Some nice injections of pace in those clips. Can't wait to see them back in action.

Haha they won't need to be pumping in crowd noise with those coaches there :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

Firmino is bang on form from March. He should probably just not bother going in to the box at Anfield at this stage, its wasted energy :)

Someone needs to hold Mane down and shave his head. His hairline is starting to scare me.

Kelleher sold himself badly getting caught nearly on the edge of the centre circle.

Yeah - I've actually kind of enjoyed matches without crowd noise. Now, i'd prefer it with a real crowd that's actually reacting live to what's happening, but against fake crowd noise i'd prefer to hear the reality of what's going on.

Rumours today we have made a bid for dembele. A loan with option to buy. Reckon its all a negotiation tactic to reduce the Werner price with Leipzig.

I thought the same thing when I seen that ,
Possibly to get Werner himself to go push for a move to us ,

Coincidentally on this day in 2017, there was talks of Liverpool signing Lazio winger Keita Balde instead of Salah. We know what happened next :)

Anyone else gonna feel a little deflated watching us play in an empty Anfield?

At this stage I actually don't mind where or how the games are played as long we get it over the line before the UK inevitably sinks into chaos due to the inevitable second wave of the virus.

A dip in form and some fans usual disappear, while an upturn they usually come back. Fairweather fans I think is the term.

Would love to see the same graph from the Hodgson era when we were muck and Utd were challenging for top honours. I'm guessing it's a reverse of that one..

Starting to feel a little deflated now even with the games coming back, this should have been a good couple of months for going out for games now it'll just be me at home with a few bottles.

There's no place for your common sense when the graph clearly shows we're beating the snot out of Utd.

The graph is actually from the 'May 2020 era' when neither team played. So I can't see how it makes sense other than as clickbait.

Not as deflated as a lot of non liverpool fans are going to feel.

9 subs to be named in a PL match day squad, and up to 5 can be used.

Nice opportunity now for Neco Williams, Curtis Jones & Harvey Elliot to get some game time in the last 9 games.
Somehow Shaqiri will still miss out with a calf injury. :o

Maybe give Lonergan and Kelleher some minutes once the title is rapped up.

James Milner joined 5 years ago today it's been some 5 years.

I'd say Lonergan may get his one and only appearance when we have it wrapped up ,

Up there with the best signings the club has ever made. Someone I would truely love to see staying on, once his playing career is over in some capacity.

Liverpool not willing to meet the asking price as it stands...they still have time.

Great signing for Chelsea if it happens. Was really hoping we would do a deal for him. I won't be disappointed, i'll be raging.

That will be extremely annoying if that happens.

I'm still clinging on to some hope at the minute that it is maybe an agent putting the info out there that he has agreed to join Chelsea in a bid to hurry up Liverpool's bid. We all know that it's Liverpool that Werner really wants with all his talking.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,420 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Chelsea have offered him 200K a week apparently which would have made him pretty much our top earner alongside Salah.
