That will do that will do a win and 100 Liverpool goals for Salah.

Can't fault that performance. Excellent all round. They made it look easy.

I wonder if Alisson hates games like that?

Hope not, would love to win on the pitch at city.

I think you'll find that they won it on the pitch over the course of the season.
A guard of honour from the runners up would be more appropriate.

Well that was a throughoubly enjoyable watch by a team showing why they are soon to be champions. It was the cheese to last Sundays chalk.

Did Palace even make it in to our box in the second half?

He ran out of the box on the 67th minute just to get a touch of the ball in the second half! :pac:

Bar 3 mins v Everton, he literally had nothing to do in both games. No issues social distancing anyway.

I forgot about Alisson until the teams were greeting each other at full time

Wonder could Neco Williams play at LB as well.

Seen him at youth level may times. Excellent young player. Has a great instinct for scoring from full back as well

Players are all gonna be together watching the City match tomorrow night anyway, considering there's no fans regardless I'd say they'll be happy to win it somewhere they can have drink :D

Leicester didn't seem to mind winning it off the pitch in 2016:

I really didn't know what kind of team was going to come back. A difficult time for anyone, but they had to stay on top of fitness, nevermind sharpness, so I figured we might sorta blunder our way to a title in the remains of a season that everyone in the league looked a bit out of sorts in, but they found their range last weekend, and it's like they were never gone today.

Up there with our best performances of the season that. Could've been 5,6 or 7 easily.

Allison could have worked from home tonight.

If City do drop points tomorrow it would mean the City players forming a guard of honour as the lads walk out to the Emptyhad pitch so that would also be nice.

Not sure why you got a yellow, I mean, it will be empty..

Different circumstances and also they were being chased.

I don't think teams will be allowed celebrate together like this with lockdown and social distancing rules will they?

It's only since they started running Opta, for all we know it's never happened before.

Neco looks like he could develop into a quality RB. Unfortunately got TAA ahead of him but great to have options.

2 years between them so if Neco is patient and accepts being behind TAA for a few seasons we definitely have great options.

You can see the affect of training with the first team has on the likes of Williams in his playing with confidence and linking up of his passes.

What a comfortable win. They were 'at it' tonight and Palace had no answer. Some fantastic goals, very good performances, no injuries and the subs got a run out as well.

This time tomorrow....... just maybe !!!!!

City will be keen to win tomorrow, and then to beat us to prove a point if nothing else.

Prefer that's it's won as early as possible. Just in case the whole thing has to close down again

I want us to win it on the pitch even if we have to wait till Villa,
Tomorrow would be crap for the squad all home alone winning it, you want them to do it together

I want to see them Champions tomorrow night the sooner the better after 30 years.

No fans are going to be at the game whatever game wins it.

Last minute winner away to Newcastle in the last game.

    Yeah, don't care.

It's mad to be in a position to hypothetically choose one of 8 game weeks to win it! :D

Be happy either way but part of me would like to see players celebrate at final whistle if they won it on the pitch.

Won't be devastated if it happens tomorrow though.

I am working from home Friday.

It’s much easier be unbearable on site than via email but I can make it work.

Chelsea also play an FA Cup game at the weekend so may play a weakened team tomorrow night although they do need a result to maintain their hold on 4th position.

Unreal performance, can't remember been so dominant. Becker and the lads were bored off their heads. Touching distance now

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

That was a brilliant performance. Salah makes such a difference.

If they don't feel like they've celebrated this year then maybe they'll be extra hungry next season to retain it.
