Bed - tight attic stairs

    Hi all, Looking for some advice. We have a tight attic stairs, any recommendations for beds that we could get up there...it is a converted attic from years ago so not exactly regulation stairs...proper landing at top of attic but tight to navigate.

    I would think the main issue is the base, mattress will be fine!

    Very likely not up to building regs so you could find yourself with insurance problems in the event of any issues. It is more than likely not regulation floor structure either.

    nope! house built in 1960s, attic converted about 30 years ago on cut roof! It will only be used once every couple of months for family staying...only bought the house 18 months ago

    Literally any bed from ikea will be fine.

    Most divan bases come in two halves.
    Just pivot and you will be fine

    Both deliver nationwide and the beds will fit through your letterbox in parts
