    I'm about to start an extension / renovation.
    I have plans drawn up, I know I will need an engineer to sign things off, but I think I would also like to involve a QS to try and keep things on track.

    Does anyone know someone who can perform both the engineer & QS roles?

    Or even if people can just recommend engineers and QSs who don't charge the earth for domestic work.
