I ordered a couple of things from Zara in their sale section.

    This was reduced to €5.99

This was reduced to €7.99. Its not the colour I ordered, mine is a green colour. It seems to be sold out now.

Bally Heline low heel shoes (purchased at a bargain price, win!)

    10955367_4578058_322.jpg

These will be handy for work - I’ll most likely wear them with cigarette trousers.

(Their profile reminds me of Salvatore Ferragamo Vara shoes, which I love as they’re so iconic and cute :) )

    Hush Puppies Bailey loafers, leopard
    HUSBaileySlipLeopard_1024x1024.jpg?v=1561994123

These go quite nicely with jeans, particularly coloured variations like coral.

Picked up this black shacket on Asos, doesn't look much but it's really nice on. I sized down, it looked quite baggy on the model.

Nasty Gal had a good sale on the other day and I had an additional student discount code. The following are out for delivery and on there way to me. I'm twitching every time I hear a van outside . I've been after two tone jeans for months so fingers crossed.

New Look had a very similar pair to those, not sure if they are still on their website. Vero Moda had ones too.

Yeah I got the combats and they're nice and light.I'm a 12/14 and the combats were snug at the waist in a 14 and the 14 in the jeans were very loose but fine with a belt.

This is the link the the combats https://www.nastygal.com/ie/working-hard-high-waisted-utility-pants/AGG64276-2.html?color=135

I'm keeping everything except the combat skirt which I bought in a size 12.It was going nowhere near me and fits my niece who wears an 8 perfectly. The joys of women's clothing.

Thankfully the returns with nasty gal are free.

Theyre lovely, been trying to find a pair of boots like this for work, its so hard to find a nice pair with a rounded front. Maybe im looking in the wrong places but only seem to find boots that are elongated with a pointy toe. Not my style at all. Ill be in TKMaxx tomorrow and keep an eye out for these.

They were a very random find! I don't think they were even in the right section! I wasn't even looking for boots, but at that price I couldn't leave them behind.

Following my nasty gal purchases last week I agreed to pick up a bodysuit for my niece from them and of course I got carried away and got a few bits for myself.I've lost the run of myself....and I'm off to Kildare Village on Friday.

    agg61199_blue_xl?$product_image_category_page_horizontal_filters_desktop$&fmt=webp
A second pair of two tone jeans because the other pair are fab but a little big. These are much more snug and I'm justifying it because the denim tones are different to my last pair :p

    agg55368_black_xl?$product_image_category_page_horizontal_filters_desktop$&fmt=webp
This is closer to a maxi skirt on me but it swings fabulously.

    agg51071_black_xl?$product_image_category_page_horizontal_filters_desktop$&fmt=webp
I got a large and as a 12/14 its huge. Probably could have done with a medium.I plan on wearing it with a black belt, fishnets and doc martins. Be fun for a night in the pub if that becomes a thing again.

Super short black bike shorts because my new WFH uniform are bike shorts and an oversized T-shirt. I'm not in charge of the heating and it can get toasty.

This t-shirt is lovely and vibrant.I like it tucked into jeans. It's currently sold out on the website. I've only started listening to The Doors in the last two years and I've a rule with band t-shirts that I can't buy them unless I know at least 4 songs. I don't know why but I get annoyed when people are wearing a band t-shirt and then I start a conversation about the band and the wearer looks blank. It's happened to me with Nirvana and Ramones t-shirts a few times. One girl didn't even know the Ramones were a band:rolleyes:

I love band t-shirts :D While I like many songs from The Doors back-catalogue, I'm a major Fleetwood fan (Rumors is probably one of my favourite albums of all time!).... I must buy that t-shirt! :D

I got this chiffon pleated midi skirt in Penney's today. I love it. Its lovely quality and has a slip underneath so not see through. It will be lovely with boots and jumpers in the winter! I can't find any image on Penney's website, they don't seem to update it anymore and haven't much on it. I have used the image from 'Style in the City' facebook page.

I've been fairly good the last few weeks especially since its now too late to buy summer stock and the A/W stuff is still making its way to the shops but this is probably the start of my winter purchases.

    Zara;

    https://www.zara.com/ie/en/camisole-dress-p00003342.html?v1=64298779

I love dresses like this with sweaters/jumpers and either trainers or boots

I've also bought these boots in 2 sizes, so at least one will be returned, but hopefully one of the sizes will work for me and the style will suit.

    https://www.zara.com/ie/en/lace-up-flat-leather-ankle-boots-p12106610.html?v1=53077503

    & Other Stories

    https://www.stories.com/en_eur/clothing/knitwear/sweaters/product.alpaca-blend-ruffled-cable-knit-sweater-purple.0929105001.html

    https://www.stories.com/en_eur/clothing/knitwear/cardigans/product.wrap-cardigan-beige.0657572013.html

Bought these two jumpers on the back of having been really pleased with the quality of dresses that I got from &Other Stories earlier in the summer. Trying to buy nice quality pieces that will last. I love comfy jumpers in winter and especially with so much WFH this year. I will be spending €0 on high heals this year!

September is one of those great months when nice stuff lands in the shop. This jacket/cardigan was on my list for a year. It's great quality

    dynamic.chain]

Uniqlo U have in my opinion some of the best quality/price basics. I have this on order. It doesn't look very exciting but those are very solid and well made building blocks to add more exciting stuff to. The only problem is that their sizing is all over the place and I more hope than know that their stuff will fit me. I suspect their 27 jeans size is more like 29, their dresses and coats are are oversized. I'm normally size 10 and I could probably go for XS in dresses, some knitwear fits me in S and some in M.

Where is the jacket from? It's gorgeous. I had my eye on a similar one in navy from Whistles but it sold out in the end.

Arket. They are doing them for a few years now with slightly different material composition (this one is wool and cotton). They don't overly discount them which is annoying.

I was in H&M and this bomber jacket caught my eye.I'd seen similar on asos and urban outfitters but this was only €28 so I thought it was a great bargain.
Went up to the till and it scanned in at €6.90.Unbelievable.
The girl at the till went to go get one to put it aside for herself then :P

This is my second time buying this exact shoe from Adidas, I just love the colour! I had been after new runners and had been looking around but in the end just went for these again. I had been wearing Adidas Continentals as my everyday runner but the soft leather got really scruffy (squidgy?) in less than a year, and join at the toe to the sole had started to come away. Maybe I'm too optimistic but I'd personally expect a pair of ~€100 runners to last longer than that before coming apart even with regular wear. My last pair of Gazelles lasted far longer, including three months interrailing with A LOT of walking!

Anyway! These beauties were on double discount on Asos and I paid in sterling so got them for about €55.

I bought another pair of New Balance 373 trainers as they are so comfy. I got them in burgundy. I got them in DV8 in Tralee & they were in the mens section reduced to €40. Just a half a size bigger than my other pair but still fit perfect. I was raging when I got them home though as one was faded compared to the other. I know they don't have anymore in stock so didn't bring them back. I must have got one that was sat in the window display for a while or during lockdown...hence probably why so cheap! I know I should have returned them but when you can't get a refund on sale items its a pain. I am going to stick the less faded on in the window for a while to see if it makes a difference! Its my own fault for not checking both shoes in the shop & only trying one on

I got these Puma trainers a few weeks back and I'm living in them. So comfy and I love how they look. I got the men's ones because the ladies ones are often too narrow for my feet. https://www.elverys.ie/elverys/en/Elverys/Men/Footwear/Trainers/Puma-Court-Breaker-Derby-Men%27s-Trainer%2C-Grey/p/000000000001095544_GREY

Fellow posters - I've fallen down a very deep hole.

In my minor defence, I did recently have some good life news, which is typically when I tend to treat myself.

I'm hoping these will be a good investment and see me through a good few seasons!

    https://www.mytheresa.com/euro_en/gucci-horsebit-leather-loafers-1596593.html

    A slightly more practical purchase:

    https://www.asos.com/sorel/sorel-nakiska-suede-slippers-in-camel/prd/20510581?colourwayid=60059883&SearchQuery=sorel%20slippers

They seem to have upped the price of these, as they were £35 about a week ago, and I got a further 20% off sale, so they worked out at £28.

I'd been eyeing up a replacement of my Ugg slippers, but they're €100, and in light of other purchases, this seemed to be a good way of winding my neck in. Now my Ugg slippers are 5 years old (bought in Oz so not sure what I paid for them exactly, but it was a lot less than €100!) and owe me nothing - I have worn them to death and while they're holding together, the heals are now quite threadbare. I have some Sorel boots already that I love, so I'm hoping these will be a worthy replacement.

I swore I wouldn't buy another pair of trainers this year, but I've been looking at these Nike ones on their site for a couple of months. They were originally about €70 and the price dropped a couple of times. When I saw there was an extra 20% off sale items I couldn't resist! They ended up being €36 and free delivery!

Bought a pair of suede chelsea boots....... I've a leather pair from the same crowd already. Not investment pieces but not too bad. I'd not spend too much on suede as I'd be afraid they'd get quite raggedy looking with advancing years.

My Nike trainers (above) arrived, but they are a bit on the big side. I'm a 6, so ordered normal size as I've ordered nikes before, but they are more like a 7 on me. It says EU40, and UK6, which seems odd as I though a 6 was an EU39? I wish it was easy to just exchange for even a 5 & 1/2. Now I'll have to return for a refund and then I won't be able to get them again at the same price I paid. So annoying. Not sure what to do. They fit ok, but definitely room, I could do with a half size smaller. The look a big long too. But I really like them so don't know what to do!?

I'd return them and hold out for the next sale - maybe Black Friday although the delivery was a joke last year and only got the stuff I ordered xmas week.

Its ok, I got onto their chat feature on their website and they can actually do an exchange! I just have to send back the ones I have as normal and they are sending me out a smaller size! No problem on their part. Very good service.

I bought a pair of Vintage straight legged jeans in Penneys today. They are almost identical to the ones I got in Zara a few months ago. Really happy with them. I prefer the straight leg jeans now way more than skinny jeans, so much more comfortable!

I've two pairs of these, love them!

In the most boring purchase of all time, I splashed out on a Columbia fleece for work. I do some of my work on a warehouse floor and it's been getting chilly! I think this will look smart enough with black jeans, and save my nice knitwear :D

And for something nice, this from Zara

On the straight leg jeans actually, I've also mostly been wearing them the last year but today I went a step further - I wore BOOTCUT FLARES today and they were so comfortable and flattering. Need more.

Not too dissimilar to these https://www.asos.com/levis/levis-725-high-rise-bootcut-jeans-in-indigo/prd/20855999?colourwayid=60094793&SearchQuery=bootcut%20jeans

I don't remember the last time I wore bootcut jeans. I used to be a massive fan and wore them all the time. I am not sure I will go back to them, but if I found a pair that I like I might chance them. I am finding the straight cut so comfy and the seem to suit my shape more. I have been wearing them with trainers up to now, but I have tried with some ankle boots and they look good so I am going to be able to wear them a bit differently.

My replacement Nike's arrived today (so quick!). I had changed to the white colour and I love them more than the coral! The 5 & 1/2 size is much better. I love them! NO more trainers now...I've too many! lol
