Text/cal fraud?

    I have received texts from 0861801622 and calls from 0768886165 and I’m unsure if they are fraudulent or not? Can’t find these numbers listed online anywhere as bank of Ireland contact details.

    We can confirm with you these are genuine calls and SMS from our Card Security Team. Our colleagues may get in touch with you to check if a card transaction is legit and made by you.

    With the SMS, you can confirm back YES/NO. You will not be asked for any account information. You can also contact the Team on the number above or on 01 488 5466.
