Green Party now added to the end - sorry I can't add it further up the list or it will mess up the votes so far

SF currently have 68% of the vote so I’d suggest the sock puppetry accusations might be best investigated closer to home for you.

Just closing the thread (and poll) for a few minutes while I move the Green Party up the list at Strawberry's request. I'll re-open it shortly.

Edit: And we're back. 3 minutes, phew :D

    can anyone here answer this?
Is it possible to find polling data for your local constituency? I'd like to see how the opinion polls look to see if i should vote tactically or just based purely on my own preference.

Have you tried your local radio website, tickle?

Maybe start similar polls in the relevant regional forums? Apart from the big cities there's only likely to be 1 or 2 constituencies per forum

There are some articles and stuff. I'd really like some raw data to pick through.

I don’t think they do tickle. Just googled my area and opinion polls and there’s nothing.

    Interesting results so far.

As an undecided with no idea how to vote. I’m gonna use this info to vote tactically.

A government made up all all the little parties would definitely be change :D

Its pure chance if some local radio station or newspaper carries out a local constituency poll. Radio Kerry did one earlier in the week and it was widely publicised.

They are expensive auld things to do and getting a statistical sample from within a typical Irish constituency isn't easy.

All the little parties would implode at negotiating a programme for government IMO.
I think barring independent support the closest we've come is the auld rainbow coalition of the mid 90's in terms of a multi party government.

A SF led lefty coalition is a slim possibility, they must be fuming that given current polling they don't have much in the way of a transfer friendly strategy for their surplus.

People who can't be bothered to vote would vote for Sinn Fein, if it was as easy as this thread to cast a vote. In reality the won't be bothered.
Should be a way to vote electronically from a phone. Geez you can bank from a phone, so must be possible to created a Voting Account same way as a bank account .

considering theres a handful of shinners on the forum, Im sure the mods would have clearly found if each had been voting 20 or 30 times each.

As for all the new reg anti shinners on the forum though ...hmmmm (which to answer your question means no, I dont)

I posted all the constituencies, how many seats available and how many candidates from each party are running in that constituency in another thread. I still have it saved and could post it here if people wanted to see their area.

if people are switching from a vote from FG to FF, it is a serious mistake in my opinion. We are going to get exactly the same, just with more reckless spending and a party who will likely sink us again!
