Some other forums are doing this so I thought we might as well get an idea of how everyone is voting tomorrow - let's see if Leo has anything to worry about!

All votes are secret so work away. You can only make one choice of who is getting your first preference just to keep things simple.

Who will get your first preference in GE2020? 95 votes

    Joan Burton (Labour)
    54% 52 votes
    Peter Casey (Independent)
    3% 3 votes
    Jack Chambers (Fianna Fail)
    0% 0 votes
    Ruth Coppinger (Socialist Party)
    5% 5 votes
    Emer Currie (Fine Gael)
    1% 1 vote
    Paul Donnelly (Sinn Fein)
    2% 2 votes
    Edward McManus (Aontu)
    5% 5 votes
    Roderic O'Gorman (Green)
    1% 1 vote
    Aengus O Maolain (Social Democrats)
    11% 11 votes
    Sean O'Leary (Ind)
    4% 4 votes
    Stephen O'Loughlin (Ind)
    0% 0 votes
    Leo Varadkar (Fine Gael)
    0% 0 votes
Not voting/ not eligible to vote
    10% 10 votes

Well according to our poll at the minute, Roderic is the front runner (16) with Leo (7) a distant second, Aengus (5) and and Paul Donnelly joint third (5). It'll be interesting to see how true this turns out to be.

Paddy Power have their money on Leo Varadkar, Jack Chambers, Roderic O' Gorman and Paul Donnelly for what it's worth (if I am reading the odds correctly!). https://www.paddypower.com/politics?tab=irish-constituencies

Don't forget to vote for real tomorrow :)

I doubt this will the result on the day. We're probably a younger and more liberal bunch than the average voters.

Unfortunately there’s no National party candidates in my area so Aontú it is.

    He did. And failed miserably

I didn't vote. Not a single candidate was proposing a reduction in taxes and a trimming of the public service. All of them were just minor variants of I'll spend your money to improve your area.

We demand better services and more investment in our infrastructure.
What, that'll cost more money than we have? **** off out of that!

I don't demand better services. Near me, they spent I don't know how much ripping up perfectly good concrete footpaths and replacing them with pavers. I'd rather have the concrete and a few more euros in my pocket, thanks. I'd also rather not have my taxes spent on subsidising wealthy people so they can buy EV's, engage in a solar panel tech hobby, and feel virtuous for it.

We may have got the order wrong but we weren't too far off reality:

    Roderic O'Gorman 32
    Leo Varadkar 22
    Paul Donnelly 13
    Aengus Ó Maoláin 8
    Jack Chambers 7

3 out of 4 isn't bad, pity we were wrong about JC missing out. Definitely would have liked to see O Maolain getting in, but I don't think it was ever a possibility.

No he didn't do very well at all, did he? I laighed when I heard them read out Sean O'Leary 24 votes. Higher than expected :D

I wonder if those 24 people even knew who they were voting for? I can't say I saw any posters or leaflets for him, so I haven't a clue if he even had any policies or whether he was just running for the laugh.
