Quick look at raintoday.co.uk , plenty more wind and rain on the way to Manchester tracking across the irish sea. Would still be absolutely miserable evening over there and for a lot of people travelling to the game, it would not be without its risks

Its early February. In England. Switch on tg4 youtube and look at the amateurs playing.......a lot of snow promised over next week in UK. Will be dangerous around the grounds and on the roads........

Are there 50k+ fans watching these amateurs playing? I doubt it.

It's not because of the players, it's about the safety of the whole game, including travelling to and from.

Easy to say that from comfort of your home, but these decisions are made with a bigger picture in mind.

A further point though is a lot of those fans were already en route anyway and still have to travel home anyway

Fair enough.

Have captain Aguero, was hoping for a jump by doing that, joined the Salah captain train instead which is more than boring...

Unless the game goes on, but now I don't know if I want as it could be a rotation nightmare with some players having arrangements that Pep will allow to go ahead.
