If the polls are to be believed the current administration will be 'toast' very soon, so who would you put in our Brexit negotiations 'top team' to replace Varadkar, Coveney & McEntee?

    This "might" be one option?
    McDonald, O'Snodaich, Anderson.

What other hypothetical options are there?

    O Snodaigh?

What do you think would be a higher priority for him? Negotiating reciprocity in being allowed to throw pint glasses at police when visiting the UK, or being allowed to spit at them?

At least we know he wouldn't have allowed the recent Dail printer fiasco....no fear of the bould Aengus letting it sit there unused

Since it will be M Barnier doing the negotiations on the EU's behalf, it's irrelevant once all parties support the EU position.

What a simplistic and politically naive perspective. It’s not just one man going in negotiating. Having a strong political and diplomatic team representing us during the negotiations is imperative.

It's simplistic because it's true. Barnier is backed up by a team of civil servants not a bunch of elected buffon's .

Sure we shouldn’t send a negotiating team at all then if we were to follow that logic.

They can send Dustin and Bosco, an Irish delegation will not be sitting in the room thrashing out a trade agreement with the UK.

The Irish government won't be as involved in this phase of the negotiations.

We've already sent the biggest sleeveen we have to Europe, EU Trade Commissioner Phil 'how do you like those water charges Im off to Brussels' Hogan.

Our only hope is that he uses those powers of evil on our behalf this time...
