Oh, Hoggy. What have you done.

    Two weeks in a row.

    Christ.

Clear pressure there in fairness. What a blunder all the same.

    No try

I said it earlier Hogg is so brain dead at times.

I don't understand how is taken so long for someone to just dink the ball down the middle and wait for the mistake.

A homer decision of ever there was one!!

    Really poor defence for Scotland.

Two big mistakes from Hogg in two weeks to cost Scotland the game. Think maybe the pressure of being captain is not sitting well with him.

England doing everything to hand the game to the opposition

    Scotland: "Hold my beer"

Think people are being a little harsh on Hogg for that try opportunity. Was under a lot of pressure and knew how risky it was if he spilled it without touching down in-goal. Was far too easy for England to get over after the scrum.

    The Scots are so undisciplined

Daft. Just drift, let them pass laterally and wait for the inevitable fumble.

That should be game over if they slot this

Must be disheartening being a Scottish fan. You can number their rugby achievements in the pro era with 1 hand.

You don't even need the whole hand

Kicking it away with 30 seconds left. Talk about a surrender

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 8,143 ✭✭✭fitz

    Both sides looked absolutely brainless.

Were Scotland happy with just the bonus point there at the end? Price kicked it away twice.

What an absolute brain fart to kick away possession with 30 seconds left, regardless of conditions.

Scary stuff for the English though, another poor performance again.

The Scots just looked jaded to bits with 70 gone, out of legs, out of ideas but the amount of kicking just seemed brain dead..

In terms of quality one of the worst games I've ever seen, yes the conditions weren't great but I've seen games in the wind and rain that weren't as poor as this was. Scotland's handling and all round decision making at key points was abominable. England more or less just kept kicking it to them because they knew they would get it back fairly easily. Abysmal.

England are well beatable with no spine. We're going into that game in perfect mindset to take them on.

Ireland will go to Paris for a winner take all match.

What an awful match, conditions are to blame for most of it

England have handed Ireland a couple of beatings recently, I suspect they'll win comfortably at Twickenham.

Awful conditions! Great viewing! Unbelievable entertainment. That wind was bonkers.
