Do you really thing Sinn Fein are going to sack a member for singing up the ra. He could be making pipebombs in the Dail chamber and they wouldn't bat an eyelid.

Hes not in the IRA though. He clarifed and explained the context of the chanting. Totally wrong but everyone is entitled to their beliefs.

    He should be removed though.

Although political leaders in Ireland dont do that. This isnt just an SF thing.

    Varadkar didnt and Martin didnt.

I genuinely don't have a problem with SF being part of the next government. They can't be any worse than the last two FG led governments. What I do worry about is that most of the newly elected SF TDs haven't a clue on how to behave or diplomacy.

But they can. That's what people don't seem to have grasped.

Is the solution to our issues electing people, many of whom can't even speak coherently and have so-called policies that are unaffordable?

These people are suppose to represent the country in a government and that's going to make things better?

It can be A LOT worse than the previous government.

Also what is going to happen when landlords start evicting people en masse to sell before any notion of Sinn Féin policy on housing comes in?

There is the first crisis coming right there.

Stupid policies bring in stupid results.

Well I for one really want to see SF in Government now.

It's all up for grabs and who knows it might just work out great for them. Bet they have a plan....
Dessie Ellis would like to be the next Minister for Justice. ML will not chastise that wing of the cleansed party because she has been under orders not to.

    True colours indeed.

    Which is it?

They get 10billion for doing pish all to cover 1.5million people. It's not like they're paupered.

Mary Lou should sack that spa singing up the Ra. Make an example of him. SF would come out really well doing that.

Or they could just say it was a joke, get over it. As soon as they start bowing to media outrage they are screwed.

FFG protected and colluded with Paedos for decades but thats ok.

FF gave an unbelievably good deal to the Roman church in 2001. And the Roman corporation still haven't paid their part. The taxpayer stumped up most of the redress money.

FFG? The RC church abusing young boys and girls in a sexual and repetative nature. The nuns sellings kids and enslaving young girls. FFG were complicit in this and more than likely took part. They charged those institutions with the "care" of the kids.

SFs history is coloured. But so is FFGs.

and when SF were running round the country kneecapping drug dealers and loan sharks and acting like the state police and also doing nothing about this...... Pop a 17 year old and hide his body for decades for selling some grass - no bother, stop paedos in your own party or in public from abusing kids - not a chance.

And what do we spend for approx 3 times that pop.
    I'll give you a starter,;
    €2.1 billion on a hospital.

Feel free to fill in the gaps.

She thinks Thomas Slab Murphy is a good republican and an all round sound guy. One of Sinn Féin's finest supporters. She's not going to sack a TD from the party for singing IRA songs. There's nothing to be gained from it. People knew about that stuff when they voted and made their decision accordingly.
I'd be surprised if a lot of their new vote did know or even knew who they were voting for.

Id rather have a political party knee capping drug dealers than the like of FFG protecting Paedos.

my point is they were also knowingly protecting paedos. If anything moreso as they could have acted as judge jury and executioner on the nonces but didnt care.
