Well there’s a policy that last year delivered more social housing than had been built in the previous 32 years. Slainte care has cross party support and needs to be implemented.

The place is in good health. Now time for SF to bring in free childcare, increase the dole by 25 quid, build more social housing, get rid of the LPT, end people on trolleys, and being the pension age back to 65 in contravention of what every other country in Europe is doing.

you forgot starving kids in Africa.

SF don't have monopoly on solutions for those issues and they don't have a mandate to do it alone. If they are behaving in way that will push away any prospective partners they are just making the problem worse.

We’ve a finite budget in this country and as a society we’ve tended to push our budget towards social welfare and public sector pay over infrastructure projects.

People want change and now it’s up to SF to go into government and deliver that change for the people who voted for them. FG’s message of economic growth, financial prudence, and incremental improvements in services via long term planning didn’t resonate with the electorate, and they’ve no mandate. So I’d agree with you there. Time for them to go into opposition.

What would be truly disappointing for the people who voted for SF in enormous numbers would be to see SF running scared from trying to go into government, or shying away from their platform of change. Big promises, lads. Time to go implement em.

Look there's lots of issues because of successive governments who looked after the banks, vulture funds, private insurance companies etc. Even if SF get into government it will take many years to clean up the mess left behind.

What I'm hearing is no FG polices that directly impacted the current state of the economy.


ML seems to be the only leader currently doing anything about forming a government.
