    it was such a big problem that dublin airport started doing document checks before people could even get off the plane to stop them burdening the asylum system here.

    I agree with you on travellers but they are born here so we have to deal with them. Not so sure about non EU migrants. I feel most of them are highly educated people working in fintech.
