Do I need new Screen Digitizer to replace Wi-Fi Antenna?

Hi guys,

Cousin's Ipad mini 2 wont connect to wifi no matter what I try.

I'm thinking it need a new Wi-Fi Antenna, I got one on ebay

Looking at the youtube videos the screen digitizer seems to shatter when removing it.

Is it possible to remove the digitizer without destroying it or do I need to buy a new one?

the screen can be removed without damaging them. done it enough times myself. may be better off getting a local repair shop to do it.
