    I all

I have a Saorview Ariel in my attic feeding one of my bedrooms.

Can I split the cable in the attic and run cable to another bedroom??

What splitters, connectors and cable type should I be buying??

Will I lose any signal strength as the current bedroom is the main user and dont want to lose any signal here as we are happy out with the signal here etc.

    many thanks

Yes you can split it in the attic.

You will lose some signal, whether it'll be enough to affect the signal at each tv is impossible to say. It all depends on how strong the signal you are receiving is.

If the signal drop isn't good enough fire both tv's you may need a distribution amplifier.

Use good quality f connectors and an f splitter initially to minimise loses

Connect your aerial to a powered distribution amp and feed the TV points from it, examples: https://www.freetv.ie/saorview/tv-distribution/amplifier/

Depending on which amp you choose you will require these co-ax connectors or these F-connectors at the amp end and co-ax connectors at the TV end.

And cable similar to this - https://www.freetv.ie/ct100-satellite-cable/

All of the above should be available locally from a hardware shop or similar

Try an ordinary splitter first. It will most probably be OK. Using an amplifier will add other problems. You probably don't have a power socket in the loft for a start.

    Correct....:no power in attic.

I use this type of splitter, no amp, fed into the attic and out to 3tv's, maybe a slight loss of signal but a strong signal to start with.

Links are ok but there appears to be an issue at their end.
