Similar to the athletics section any chance we could have a separate sub thread for events?

    Delete this accordingly...

Sub thread or sub forum (Forum Requests)?

i'm always wary of 'ghettoising' topics, in that a subforum might not get enough threads to be viable or self-sustaining. it's something you can see in other parts of boards where topics have become so specialised the forums have essentially died.

I think its a good idea a thread a la the cyclocross ones we do in the main body of the forum works well...
Maybe a thread for races, sportifs etc would work?

Agree. I never venture into the MTB Forum whereas I would have read an occasional thread when it was in the main forum.

Agree with Wishbone. Too much specialism takes the enjoyment out of browsing, well for me anyways.
