We now have one of the highest standards of living in the world despite a record breaking recession. Stop acting like we are all in sackcloth and ashes.

It's not done fairly, corruption is everywhere, FG are blatantly corrupt (children's hospital,Irish water, broadband, ESB smart meter project) if the Coronavirus hits with any force our health system will collapse in days,

"The right?" Fine Gael–led governments introduced same-sex marriage, repealed the 8th amendment, took blasphemy out of the constitution, and loosened the criteria for those who are applying for a divorce — all while bringing the economy back to full employment, increasing the minimum wage, and increasing social welfare spending. How right-wing is that?

The electorate introduced marriage equality, repealed the 8th, removed blasphemy, and loosened the criteria for those applying for divorce.

Because each one of those was decided by a referendum.
And those referendum were proposed by the Citizen's Assembly.

Do we get to have everything the citizens assembly purpose then?

This is total rubbish. You don't know the definition of corruption.

How is that list of large public projects "corruption"?

You do realise these things require a lot of planning and consultation, right? You can't just "do" them.

Is not FG left wing? There is no right wing in Ireland.

Only the things we vote for.

If those were purely FG's idea why did they need a Citizen's Assembly to recommend them?
Why not just go ahead and hold referendums?
