There is at least one reference in that thread to "blueshirts." In boards.ie I got pissed off that lazy, propagandist cliché and I said that if I read it once more in boards I would begin to call the shinners Hitler's Fellow Travellers (HFT for short) and would keep calling them that until it stuck. And if anyone challenged me to substantiate it I would gladly do so. I hesitate to engage in Trump-like self-congratulation, but I haven't read the "blueshirt" slur since I did so. Maybe the shinnerbots, at their monthly briefing or whatever, were instructed to desist in order to avoid a greater evil. You see, there is no FGer alive now who wore a blue shirt, though there may be a few "republican" survivors of the Nazi collaboration, which lasted longer (notice how I put "republican" in inverted commas.) There certainly have to be survivors from the collaboration with SPONK ( i.e. the Socialist Paradise of North Korea.)
Maybe it's time the HFT threat was made elsewhere.

P.S. I am not an FG supporter, nor did I give them no.1 in 2020.

Charity doesn't even exist anymore, largely thanks to her, so no money will ever be repaid. Her offer to donate money to another charity of her choosing is total BS.

Nobody knew this woman, she's 0 ties to the local community and has only lived here a few years. How can she argue that she represents a community she does not know, and more shockingly why did people vote for her. Her lack of comminity ties really shows when she argues with the electorate she claims to represent on the very suitable platform of the comment section on a ClareFM article.

Unfortuneatly in my area we have some similar, the local good TD's have got dumped, a good FG lady and we have something from SF, nobody has ever heard of him, nobody knows him, no ties to community and hasn't even raised his head to thank the people that did vote for him.....really people wanted a revolt vote but of all the parties to pick why SF

Not a single SF supporter has become disillusioned since the election, it seems. You would expect, given the silence of the party, that some of them would be expressing concern.

Why on earth should any of you be surprised? This is the party that acted as apologist for some of the most terrible crimes ever visited on Irish people.

Clare people could have elected worse, as for instance convicted bomb makers or arms importers, not to talk of people who were never in the IRA.
