She obviously recieved the wrong email from SF HQ. She got the one for supporters not elected officials.

You know the one where it says to always insult those you disagree with as you cannot be expected to know facts......

I don't know what's funnier, The fact an elected td thinks that is acceptable behavior or the blinkered clowns that are still defending her. It's beyond belief how she ended up where she is.

There is at least one reference in that thread to "blueshirts." In boards.ie I got pissed off that lazy, propagandist cliché and I said that if I read it once more in boards I would begin to call the shinners Hitler's Fellow Travellers (HFT for short) and would keep calling them that until it stuck. And if anyone challenged me to substantiate it I would gladly do so. I hesitate to engage in Trump-like self-congratulation, but I haven't read the "blueshirt" slur since I did so. Maybe the shinnerbots, at their monthly briefing or whatever, were instructed to desist in order to avoid a greater evil. You see, there is no FGer alive now who wore a blue shirt, though there may be a few "republican" survivors of the Nazi collaboration, which lasted longer (notice how I put "republican" in inverted commas.) There certainly have to be survivors from the collaboration with SPONK ( i.e. the Socialist Paradise of North Korea.)
Maybe it's time the HFT threat was made elsewhere.

P.S. I am not an FG supporter, nor did I give them no.1 in 2020.

Has she started to pay back any of the money yet? Or this just a little storm to switch people attention?

    Are you kidding?

That money won’t be paid back ever.

Charity doesn't even exist anymore, largely thanks to her, so no money will ever be repaid. Her offer to donate money to another charity of her choosing is total BS.

Deary me, arguing on Facebook like a teenager and with grammar like a child, it would make you sad to think that she's actually a sitting TD.

Protest vote or not, the electoral in Clare should be ashamed of themselves.

And Sinn Fein for putting her forward in the first place. I can just imagine Mary Lou now... "What have we inflicted on ourselves!?"

She'll cause more issues for the party than anything else.

    Very much so.

Nobody knew this woman, she's 0 ties to the local community and has only lived here a few years. How can she argue that she represents a community she does not know, and more shockingly why did people vote for her. Her lack of comminity ties really shows when she argues with the electorate she claims to represent on the very suitable platform of the comment section on a ClareFM article.

I was ashamed when I heard of the vote, however very few from West Clare actually voted for her. Anyone who'd heard of this woman prior to her electoral run had only heard bad things.

She also seems to have a load of Sinbots following her, God help anyone ask a question, some poor lady was jumped on by a couple of people.....normal posters you see around from SF

Unfortuneatly in my area we have some similar, the local good TD's have got dumped, a good FG lady and we have something from SF, nobody has ever heard of him, nobody knows him, no ties to community and hasn't even raised his head to thank the people that did vote for him.....really people wanted a revolt vote but of all the parties to pick why SF

Oh her TD page is atrocious, just loads of people incessantly telling her she's brilliant and how much she's doing.

She's done sweet f*** all except make an eejit out of herself and the party at large.

    It is curious, isn’t it?

Not a single SF supporter has become disillusioned since the election, it seems. You would expect, given the silence of the party, that some of them would be expressing concern.

I would expect the “new” SF voters is fairly pi**ed they wasted their votes on the likes of Violet

Not just BS. It's the height of arrogance to talk about another charity rather than the victim. That is rubbing the victim's nose in it. "How dare you call us out publicly? Now you'll get nothing. Don't you know 'republicans' can do as they please?' "
Why on earth should any of you be surprised? This is the party that acted as apologist for some of the most terrible crimes ever visited on Irish people.

Clare people could have elected worse, as for instance convicted bomb makers or arms importers, not to talk of people who were never in the IRA.

TBF it was in Donegal. The locals tend to come out with pitchforks at the sign of any new fangled thing they think might be witchcraft.

They're like those "uncontacted" fellas on the island that speared the wannabe preacher to death a few years ago

This is the crowd who elected a T.D. on a "We want more t.v. channels" policy.
I suppose its a change from drawing the multitudes after seeing the face of Jesus on the side of a muck spreader
