Hopefully not down to the house not been up to standard.

Hope the kids were not affected in any way.

    We all make mistakes

Some cause young women to die of cervical cancer.

    Or stop kids getting chemo

Some fall behind on their rent.

I know who I'd rather give a chance to

And 8k back to the state is a great start

    What a load of rubbish

You cant give back what wasn't yours in the first place......so you need to update that part as well

Not much good to the charity whose generosity was abused in such a shameful way.

Imagine staying for six years and bringing children into an unstable house?

The rest of your post is rubbish.

Probably better than bringing them up in the street

It's not like FG were providing huge amounts of options...

FG then pulled the plug on them.

    During a housing crisis.

    Go team.

Because the people they were set up to support thanked them by not paying the paltry sum requested.

    Lets hope so

The 8k euro back to the state is great to see

Not many TD's with that moral fiber. Could do with more of them :)

Moral Fibre? You're having a laugh

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

All I know is she made a deceleration to give to the state 8k euro as a TD she's entitled to.

At a time when other TD's are looking for WFH policies to get more money from the state

Great to see/hear from any TD/Party.

Spin it anyway you want. That's what she did

On today’s news it said that NO TD had asked for more for working from home. That was a SF fantasy.

Oh that was debunked pages ago.....

Anyone with any bit of sense would see straight throught that BS.....do expect to have it fired out on every political thread for the next 3 -4 years by some political supporters

Debunked by the houses of the Oireachtas officially, that story was a fabrication.

It was picked up and spread on Twitter by the usual gang of Shinnerbots on there. Objective was achieved, the spreading of fake news to denigrate other parties and politicians. It is a Johnson/Trump tactic that Sinn Fein have adopted to great effect.

The only thing we know for certain is that she didn't pay her debts and let a charity go out of business.

Plus by not paying made sure other people stayed on the street

100%. It is important that the facts don't get lost in the reams of scutter posted here to try and hide them.

So you have this great plan.

If 1 person in this great plan falls behind, the over all plan will fail.

Knowing that 61% of council dwellings are in arrears.

You go ahead with said plan.

    Moronic is being nice.

As mentioned if 61% of council dwellings are in arrears you can not build a plan that requires 100% compliance.

    It's ludicrous.

So either it was doomed to failure from the off. Or the funding been pulled killed it.

Don't know why people are calling it SF fantasy

There was no quotes from SF saying that someone did.

A number of TDs have raised the question of new allowances to allow them to purchase office equipment while they work from home during the Covid-19 outbreak.

there was no mention of who the sources where

so if the paper go and ask SF a question and they answer the question. It's hardly SF fantasy.

    Who was the papers source?

Facts like due to FG's lack of governance on housing people are on the streets?

Keep it front and center my good man.

    Welcome back. Missed you yesterday.

Now, take some time to do a bit of research. NO TD was named because NO TD asked for extra allowances. Keep an eye on the original source for a retraction.

    Correct.

    The paper said

"A number of TDs have raised the question of new allowances to allow them to purchase office equipment while they work from home during the Covid-19 outbreak."

    SF did not say......

As I said if the paper asks a question they'll get an answer.

Where does it say SF was the source ?

The whole thing started with Shinnerbots on Twitter, picked up by a media source, and SF TDs falling over themselves to be quoted on it.

Well played by Sinn Fein to find a gullible journalist. It doesn’t even matter that it has been debunked, enough of the SF support will have believed it. An excellent lesson to other parties in how to shore up party support through the use of fake news. Very Boris and Trump-like.

    What was debunked?

News paper in shoddy research shocker?

    Get out of it.

SF accused no one of anything in the piece

The paper had a "source" which it failed to reveal and then blame SF because the reporter asked them questions on it ?
