Mods, can we get that removed? I think it's pretty ill-fitted given the theme of the show tonight.

If this toolbox is supposed to be the voice of the generation, I weep for the generation.

Could we not have a qualified Counsellor to talk about coping strategies and lessons from the whole affair?

Yeah I agree, with the whole Caroline Flack stuff and Roy Keane grieving his father it is very distasteful and I think most would agree.

This culture of treating anyone who kills themselves as Saints is dangerous

Depressed people see it and think if I go then they'll say nice things about me at last.

Don’t be such a snowflake. It’s the truth.

I think given the recent events and the theme of tonight's show it is a little bit inappropriate to leave that comment on this thread. It's not the 'truth', it's far from it. And it's a topic which is being discussed on tonight's show potentially, for him to label this in the fashion he did is deeply regrettable and upsetting.

Don’t be such a snowflake. It’s the truth.

Maybe you should consider treating people the same online as you would offline. If you wouldn't say it to somebody's face in real life, you shouldn't be typing it up like an internet warrior on here, in my opinion. Maybe some were raised differently...

Well to be fair Ryan Tubridy is 100% going to ask Roy Keane about his fathers death (with tears in his eyes ) . He thrives on people’s losses, death, cancer, suffering. Poster was only stating this fact , it’s EVERY week on the LLS at this stage .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 128 ✭✭Silly Gilly

A lot of you posting should listen to what this guy is saying and if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything. However I suspect boards would cease to function if the cranks could not share their worthless opinions amongst their ilk.

why did he have to tweet about his conversation with his colleagues? To gain maximum attention. wanted to be a one man crusade telling people what they can and cant listen to.

Advising us on what to do on social media. They want to live in a bubble of positivity. Guarantee this fella uses the amount of twitter followers as a way of monetising himself when getting himself media work.

I have been watching the Channel 4 series, Losing It, and the message I took from the Camhs people and psychiatric nurses was that teaching self-coping strategies is the key to many personality disorders, where people missed having such opportunity in their growing years.
