That was a bullet of a cross kick but almost came off

Why is Sexton still on the pitch?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,136 ✭✭✭✭is_that_so

Who said POM on the wing? :D

    Still no YC for England

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Regional Midwest Moderators Posts: 24,014 Mod ✭✭✭✭Clareman

And we lose the ball after the line out, shocking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,545 ✭✭✭A2LUE42

O’Mahony could be on the wing yet!

    You were saying..

That was a cracking pass from earls.

Another rubbish kick away of advantage

We always kick advantages in the oppositions 22. It was the same way under Schmidt too.

Because Larmour and Conway are off injured

Peypar finally saw Genge boring in. When it least matters

Quinlan blaming them kick there. How about it being to a slow back row rather than a winger?

    Still no YC for England

Thought that high tackle would have been punished

Yawn! We are not a top side.

Do you not understand how central contracts work? It wouldn't matter who the coach is. Murray or anyone else on one would have to be dead to be dropped

Do you? Toner didn't even go to the RWC when on one.

English scrum 10m out. Great chance of Peyper calling a crooked feed here

Because some people like to complain about players without first understanding how the game of rugby works.

Another Sexton cross field kick special

That was actually a good kick. Any back scores that.

The sad thing is we are just we are lacking when up against top top sides who don't give us time

    Pathetic, pathetic performance.

    Still no YC for England

Refs don't give out yellow cards just to even things up when a team is getting hammered. I haven't seen anything remotely YC worthy.

No we're not but neither is that a good English side, we just made them look good today. We looked like we had no plan a or b or even a c. Awful.

They called him off ages ago, he is just having some difficulty finding touch.

Another Sexton cross field kick special

Absolutely nothing wrong with that one. Loads of space where it actually bounced in play. The problem was a flanker was out there. If that's Conway, it's a try.

Losing is bad enough but it's the manner of it.

Beaten up a stick by a team that didn't actually play any good rugby....

We knew what was coming, so disappointing that we hadnt an answer for it

You have to kick for the player - it was a poor kick.

So after the warm up match in August, everyone was knocking RB. Dan Carter would struggle against this side with their physicality

They have been very cynical when Ireland are in their 22. They gave away 3 penalty advantages last time Ireland were knocking on the door.

B.R.U.T.A.L game from Ireland! Losing ground, even in attack.

Sorry but every time i hear "Doris" i picture an old lady with blue rinse

We've been bad, but gifted then 2 tries and there should be been a penalty against them for their 3rd.

They've hardly looked like doing much against us but their defence has been immense, though they've been given way too much credit from Peyper

Doris grabbed by the face of the ground there, has the TMO clocked off already??

Yes. Let's see how much the team for France differs from today then.

Amazed England arenr pushing harder for the bonus point

    A proper reality check this

Is there anything in this game that can be taken as a positive?

On the back foot all game and no plan seemingly to change things up. Disappointing.

Its the number of penalties England have given away not that one specific offense.

The kicker should know who is out there

    Good kick, bad decision

There'll be 4 or 5 changes for the Italy game and then all the old guard who are fit will start against France

Did very well to deny England a try bonus point.

    Keeps us in the championship

It's not really, England beat us heavily twice last year, even worse than today.
England must regret not getting the bonus point against this Irish team.
