Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Murray basically told Itoje to get ready to block the ball he's going to kick to him.

A serious mauling if this keeps up.

Ireland look like they are sleepwalking

Someone said it earlier, afraid of the ball, hoping for lucky bounces.

Sinclair and Tuilagi bouncing players out of it.

Itoje had to be offside there. At least Stockdale gets his penalty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,723 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Surely May played Stockdale in the air there?

    Badly lacking leadership

Another terrible box kick! Stop it please for the love of god

    Itoje is bloody good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,375 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

I wonder what Stockdale needs to get his blood up, the lack of physicality for a fella his size is embarrassing to him and his team. Someone needs to slap his face hard for the full half time break.

Everything that was good about our first few performances has gone to pot. Murray was kicking well in the opening games, Stockdale alert in defence, Sexton controlling the play and the forwards on the front foot. We're struggling in every single one of these things today.

I ask would the All Blacks under a new coach, three games in, be happy with if they had performed like Ireland.. I think not. I don't accept that this team is evolving and thus performances will be below par. There's no leadership on or off the pitch here.

England have been saving some of their best performances for Ireland recently.

Need to get Murray and Sexton off at half time

What more does Murray need to do to get dropped?

Ah there are lads on the team that seem to be coasting and others that are going well that can’t get a real look in.

    All too static

English line speed is phenomenal in fairness to them, halfbacks are completely struggling to deal with it. Can't imagine the replacements dealing with it much better but I think Farrell needs to make a change regardless.

Need to come up with an answer to England's line speed. Finding it hard to make ground with the ball in hand.

Why? As I said all the fans in here happy as pigs in poo with same team, can’t complain now after 30 mins

Gone out of the annual little 4 team tournament, no point including Italy. Shown up and hammered when it comes to the big boys in world cups. But I presume Aer Lingus will have another promo video of the "heroes" shortly.

We can give out all we want but this performance by England is the same level they crushed Aus and NZ 4 months ago.

We've been terrible but they have been brilliant.

Easy when all our passes are predictable and players are static

POM Murray and Sexton all passengers so far.

Why does every Ireland player have to take the ball standing still?

  • Site Banned Posts: 20,685 ✭✭✭✭Weepsie

That was brutal, but Farrell looked very very offside before that tackle but they're so very fast

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

    Murray with that hospital pass

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,380 ✭✭✭STB.

    Longest advantage ever.

Ireland still trying to soak tackles.. it's dated as a means of defending

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,621 ✭✭✭Dubinusa

We are being overwhelmed and overpowered

Don't think it's a conscious thing... England are more powerful and hitting soft shoulders

We have found our level. We suck.

    Regroup at half time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,574 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

Our carrying is so one dimensional, even allowing for England's excellent defense. No one is posing a threat, there's no danger of an offload.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,870 ✭✭✭✭mfceiling

Fast line speed = kicks in behind. No point taking static ball and being sent back 10 or 20 metres.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,139 ✭✭✭Augme

No heart, no desire, no gsmeplan. It's men B's boys out there. Reminds me of the boxing match last night, just a pity it's not possible for anyone to throw in the towel for Ireland because this is just going to get worse.

  • Site Banned Posts: 12,341 ✭✭✭✭Faugheen

Bit slow there sheep, already held my hands up and acknowledged my mistake.

Some others here could do with doing the same when they’re called out on it.
