Having been to the GP and DDoc in recent weeks (small kids), there are signs everywhere saying inform receptionists/ring from home if you are unwell and have recently been in contact with ...well, Asia. They don't want to see you in there either.

Official expert on the radio today was advising going to the GP, the muppet.

I'd advise you to avoid researching how many cases of the regular flu there are each year in Ireland and the number of deaths it causes.

You might never go outside again.

Vast majority of deaths from flu are amongst the elderly, the corona virus is far more potent

    The government is doing NOTHING.

If CORVID-19 has a mortality rate of 2% (which seems conservative) and half of the Irish population gets infected (which if it gets bad here, also looks very feels conservative) we are talking about 25,000 dead here.

Is this meant to be the solution to hospital overcrowding and pension timebomb or something?

What government? We have a temporary one in situ waiting on all to agree/ disagree on who to avoid in power and how best to pass the buck. But then that's what the voters wanted.

    Maybe we should be worried..............

It seems like it is more potent but some are acting like it is ebola.

As of now there are plenty of other things out there far more likely to kill you than this but people enjoy panic

There is another thread about the virus where the 2% figure was broken down. It is not an accurate figure

Is there any partition/xenophobic listeners in the audience? Or DUP? By border, should we be closing the island off or leaving a soft land boarder intact? ;)
