    Hi,

I am on a veritable and am deciding whether to stay variable or go fixed.
I want to start overpaying as the current amount is €200/month and I want to double that to €400/month to shorten the time span.
If I stay variable, I presume I can just add in an overpayment of €200/month.
If I want to avail of the fixed rate, can I change the repayment amount before I begin the fixed period, up to €400? As I assume If I begin a fixed period and then start over paying, I get fined?
    Any help appreciated.
