Walsh looks very dangerous for Galway both from play and placed balls. He looks like he will nail most frees he gets.

Costello got a point there he had no right to get. Game bubbling along nicely for the second half.

    0-8 each at half time.

At one stage I thought Dublin were getting control, it was Walsh that kicked Galway back into life literally.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

It appears to be a non contact sport when Galway have the ball in hand. Getting shed loads of soft frees.

    Cracking point there.

It has been an enjoyable game some so far good scores in it.

Close game to close for me. Every time Dublin has gotten a chance to push on forward a bit they have missed their scoring chance or given it away letting Galway back in.

Need to use the ball better in the second half and hopefully open them up a bit more. After all the goals in the first two game, we haven't had one goal change here yet so hopefully, that's to come!

I get the feeling Dublin are going easy ozy. In second gear so far.

If so it's unnecessary especially when Galway are well in the game. Dunno what kinda ****e they turned out against Kerry but they have turned up here so far.

They the stats up now Galway are slightly ahead on the possession.

Giving the Galway midfield lads loads of praise.

All I could think of was O'Chofaigh-Byrne is a red waiting to happen for Dublin imo. Already on a yellow.
    Always seems a bit awkward.

Costello again, I think that must be four from play?

    I was wrong three.

Auld messy goal that was - still a goal is goal - from Con.

Deserved goal considering Galway have decided to play like Donegal now and park the bus.

Nice lively start to the half keep it up lads!

    Thought Lowndes won that fairly?

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,782 ✭✭✭✭gormdubhgorm

Jayus it has been 15 minutes since anyone except Walsh scored for Galway. Yet they are still in it.

Costello with another point - was lucky with this one ball fell to him.

He's barely even touched him there soft as ****.

Costello again made by Kilkenny. Must be five from play now.

Costello has been brilliant in the league so far.

Galway goalie is built like a boxer, well named second name - Power.

Not much on the direction though.

How will he feel if/when he is dropped again?

McDaid and Bugler in for McMahon and O'Chofaigh-Byrne.

    Happy with those subs.

Con two in a row from play.

Yea that's the thing surely there's place for him even when Rock comes back.

Cooper with his usual yellow - bit later than usual in fairness.

Just glad that he's playing half forward and it doesn't cost us!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,133 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now

With out Walsh Galway might as well of went home at halftime.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,782 ✭✭✭✭gormdubhgorm

Shane Walsh kicks very similar in style to Dean Rock. No matter what the distance the fecker makes it look effortless.

A different scorer besides Walsh - McHugh from Corofin.
Fenton replied with an easy fisted point though.

I think Dublin will have some job to throw this game away, the way it is going.

Edit: ah for feck sake spoke too soon - lamped ball goal Galway

Goal came out of no where!

Have to look at the keeper though.
