Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

sand falling from chimney

In the last few days there is sand falling into the stove. I take it this sand is coming from the mix which was put in with the chimney liners when the house was being built. Is this dangerous, What should I do?

Yes the danger is carbon monoxide. Stop using it and get it relined.

There's no need to do anything to the clay flue pots or the sand but you must put in a flexiflue.
