Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got a quote from a plumber for a new hot water cylinder.

It's 300 litres and is a 3-coil one. A solar panel feeds into it as well. I'm in a rural location, and the existing one is corroding due to the PH levels in the well water.

    The quote is

    1,150 for materials
    300 labour
    196 VAT.
    1,646 Total

He then says the cylinder recommended for well water is an extra €700 + VAT on top of that.

    Does this quote make sense?

    New total €2,440.
