Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Toilet seat driving me nuts (or I could be just stupid)

Right so, we have a soft close toilet seat that has come loose. The seat doesn't have any of those wingnut type fasteners underneath the bowl. Instead it has (I presume) those top tightening fixtures that are usually underneath the chrome circular cap piece. I have seen systems where you can just pull off the toilet seat or there is a button to release the seat. However my hinge is below (it's usually covered with a plastic chrome effect cap piece). I'm guessing the white plastic grooved piece can be removed but for the life of me I can't get it turn or pull off (if that's what I'm even supposed to be doing!)
