Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Draw for this is on in the next hour. They have rejigged the format to reduce the number of friendlies. All of the top 3 leagues will now have 4 groups of 4. One of the byproducts of this change is that nobody (including us) got relegated from the last time. Here are the leagues and pots for the draw:

Thank god. Be nice to dodge Wales as well - sick of them too

I reckon we could top one of those groups but probably lose the playoff

Too many teams in League A. Last time out was a really enjoyable tournament with some cracking ties but nothing other than Spain/Germany standing out. Watered down a bit with 16 teams instead of 12. Denmark for example aren’t at that level.

You don't think Holland/Italy, England/Belgium, and Portugal/France (with Croatia) are decent looking ties?
I'd prefer it was 12 rather than 16 but it still looks decent enough to me.

Denmark would have been in if it was 12 by the way, they got promoted. Germany, Iceland, Poland, Croatia would be gone.

Qualifying for the World Cup for Ireland will be near on impossible now with this format.

10 Groups for the main qualification

    10 Group winners go through

10 Group runners up joined by 2 best ranked teams from the nations league to join them in a 12 team play off for the final 3 places
