Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Big game coming up this evening at Tallaght Stadium in the Ireland women's Euros campaign. Ireland currently sit second in Group I, 5 points behind group favourites Germany but with a game in hand. Greece in the same situation but three points behind ourselves. A win today puts us in with a good shout of at least a play-off place, with two games with Germany still to come. It should be a tricky test. Greece you may recall grabbed a late equaliser in the reverse fixture.

    How Ireland line up:

Rianna Jarrett scored twice on her Brighton debut last week so she should be in a confident mood. Hopefully we can get the win.

Good to see that the female refs are just as bad as the men.

1-0 Ireland on the stroke of half-time. Caldwell with a tap in after a good header from Quinn, all via a lovely delivery by Katie McCabe. Think we deserved that. Most of our play coming on their right flank where we're getting good joy.

Should be 2-0. Littlejohn goes it alone when Jarrett was free for a tap in.

Ireland the better side so far, but after what happened in the away game, a two goal lead would be desirable!

LittleJ looks like a decent player

Ireland seem so much better technically than the Greeks.

The first game showed that clearly enough.
They dominated a lot of that first game, but half way through the second half they started dropping deep and inviting on pressure, it was inevitable they'd concede eventually.

Thankfully they've stayed playing here (so far anyway !)

Full-time and Ireland win 1-0. Big 3 points and well deserved on the night.

Littlejohn named best player which I'd agree with. She caused the Greeks a lot of problems.

That away draw probably killed any chance of taking a top 3 runners up spot but should be pretty set on a play off place now

We should have won by more imo, failure to get the second made it unnecessarily nervy. I say it every time I watch us, but Katie McCabe is some player. Constantly looking to make something happen. Apparently she’s doing well for Arsenal and it’s not hard to see why.

3-0 win for the Ireland women in Montenegro sees us go top of the group, having played a game more than Germany. Looking good for the play-off spot now. Goals here:
