    8 for interd
    12 for open
    Hope that helps!

Yes it does. I heard during the week that it was 3 for the interdept and 5 open the previous week.

So it certainly has picked up pace.

Would anyone have any insight into how long clearance/garda vetting is taking these days?

I’m doing the final interview next week. Did anyone use notes around them or look down at notes while being interviewed previously or would that look bad. Also is it Drive and Commitment they don’t ask for a specific example or is it Specialist knowledge. Thanks.

Open panel tends to move quicker than InterD, due to the ratio being called, eg I had a higher number on InterD but was reached on the Open first

Absolutely I had post-its stuck all over my pc near the webcam to glance at in case I got stuck. Both are marked across all competencies, however they did follow up with questions on my specialist knowledge based on my examples I had given of same & I got a bit at the end about both drive & com & specialist know (my closing statement where I thanked them)

Just wondering how long does it take before interview results feed out? Is it normally 2 weeks?

In my case had interview on May 20th with results issuing on June 2nd so in my case just under 2 weeks which appears to be the same for most candidates depending on when they were interviewed in terms of their particular batch.

Approx 2 weeks. Everyone gets results on the same day but obviously interviews are not all on the same day. Best of luck

I did the video interviews that closed on 9th June and we still haven't heard back yet. Wonder how much longer we'll be waiting - it's 3 weeks now.

It was 3 weeks and 3 days from when the Window closed to results. So you might have results this week - good luck

Oh, that's good to know. Thanks so much Smart1982. Hopefully it'll be this week.

Anyone know how long we are likely to be waiting for video interview results?
Or has it been different at different stages of this comp so far?

One of the last groups seemed to get there results one day shy of the 3 weeks from when the window closed, or 20 days (including weekends) and if that were to be the same for our batch, that would be today. But it all depends on how many people were in that batch that got the results in 20 days and in our batch that closed on the 9th.

Fingers crossed for this week, it’s July on Thursday, there’s not usually even this much movement that there already has been most summers, so it could slow down in July or August. Does anyone know for certain when the first batch panel was established from this competition?

From memory the first batch got Stage 4 results (Panel established) Mid October 2020 (I'm sure if you read back on this thread you 'll find out for certain). I think I'm Batch 3 and the panel established 2nd June 2021

Anyone know when interviews are concluding this week? Pas said this week and results in about 2.
Based on previous batches I'm guessing they finish mid week and results early next week??

Results of video interview just out now.

Just got results there for video interview.
    Passed well thankfully.
Thanks to everyone on this thread who gave tips - I read it all and did really well when I thought I did crap.

I have the absolute FEAR about the etray as know someone who got to interview stage before but failed the etray this year.

I also failed it myself before in 2019, but I was 8 months pregnant and did it in Dublin straight after the three supervised tests which was a complete nightmare. I was brain-dead and tired by the time I got to the e-tray and you really need to bring your A game for it.

    Any tips really welcomed.

Happy and relieved with video result. Fingers and toes crossed for everyone.
I'll be focusing on getting the etray nailed as I fell short by 2 points in previous competition.

Congratulations and like you missed out on etray previously. Its just the etray so we won't have to sit through the other assessments this time. That was a very long day so I don't know how you did it while pregnant.

Last day of (this batch 6) interviews tomorrow, the 30th

Didn’t make it through the video round but massive thanks to all on this thread! Best of luck to all still in the competition.

It was such a long day wasn't it? I also drove two hours to Dublin that morning so an all-in-all nightmare process. Had no idea what I was facing in to.
Sorry to hear you missed out too.
Certainly seems like an easier process this year. That said, someone I know and a few on here seem to have failed having thought they'd done well.
    Fingers crossed eh!

Thanks Betty. Did you get confirmation of same from pas rep?
Fingers crossed for results early next week. Its an arduous process.
Congrats to those who passed videos amd commiserations to those who missed out.

It's different this time around so maybe we'll benefit from having gone through that process previously. I know someone who did etray this competition and it seems different to the one we would have done. I commute to Dublin precovid so had been up at dawn o'clock and did half day working and had the assessment in the afternoon.... Bit mad when I think back 😳😳

Did not make it through either. It was good to experience the process.

Congratulations to all those who progressed to the next round.

Does anyone know if we wait long for etray details after video interview results?
I think from memory it's usually only a few days right?
