I think indoor eating is not allowed now

I thought that too but then I looked at the chart they have on rte and it says allowed but with extra restrictions. But like where do we find out what these extra restrictions are?

2m between tables mandatory etc etc etc
The stuff the restaurants claim isn't feasible.

You would imagine that we will know in the next hour, not very fair on that industry not knowing whether they need food to open tomorrow or not by now.

May not be allowed visitors to your home under this. Level 3 says 1 household but they are apparently reviewing this.

    To the pub!

Really makes no difference, 3 or 5 they are damned for it now. Mixed messaging is going to cost them big time.

Are non food pubs now closed again?

Wet pubs can stay open with outdoor dining.

Cork's 14 day incidence rate stands at 110.56 including today's figure of 53 cases.

The growth in 14 day incidence rate has slowed now due to the 14 day incidence rate only now counting the period of higher cases we've noticed in the last few weeks.

Cork's 14 day incidence rate is now lower than the national 14 day incidence rate which stands at 115.2 cases per 100k.

I think it's sorta encouraging that we haven't seen it shoot past the 60 range.

Confined to your county now. If you're living there.

Is Germany still letting us visit?

The levels have been so butchered by amendments and additions that they're hardly worth even looking at any more. With the best will in the world, it's so complicated that it is getting hard for people to follow. A harsher restriction but with clearer communication would actually be preferable I think.

Going to Level 3 will have a big impact on Restaurants, Hotels and Bars.(Although im not sure what restrictions the government are implementing)

Its hard to say that the covid cases will drop if the whole country goes into Level 3.

Well the big revenue rebate for staycations was starting in October if anyone was planning holidays in Ireland for 625 euros per person

Dublin's cases have quite clearly stopped growing, Level 3 will 100% have an impact.

Dublin's cases have quite clearly stopped growing, Level 3 will 100% have an impact.

Thursday 1 October 170 cases are in Dublin
Friday 2 October 198 cases are in Dublin
Saturday 3 October 224 cases are in Dublin
Sunday 4 October 100 cases are in Dublin
Monday 5 October 134 are in Dublin

The last two days data was good but is two days data enough to be thinking Dublin's cases have quite clearly stopped growing?

Look at the 14 day incidence. Slope has clearly dipped.

Yes, of course it has, due to some recent days having low numbers relative to what went before......

    18 September 116 in Dublin
    19 September 166 in Dublin
20 September 241 cases are in Dublin
21 September 76 cases are in Dublin
22 September 174 cases are in Dublin
23 September 103 cases are in Dublin
24 September 167 cases are in Dublin
25 September 152 cases are in Dublin
Saturday 26 September 104 are in Dublin
Sunday 27 September 212 cases are in Dublin
Monday 28 September 209 cases are in Dublin
Tuesday 29 September 154 cases are in Dublin
Wednesday 30 September 189 cases are in Dublin
Thursday 1 October 170 cases are in Dublin
Friday 2 October 198 cases are in Dublin
Saturday 3 October 224 cases are in Dublin
Sunday 4 October 100 cases are in Dublin
Monday 5 October 134 are in Dublin

Dublin cases are still (yesterday and Sunday) above national numbers from a month ago so we've a bit to go before we can say that level 3 is all we'll need.

As of 8pm last night the number in hospital in Cork dropped from 6 (4 Mercy, 2 CUH) to 5 (3 Mercy, 2 CUH) with none in critical care

Heard Waterford have done brilliantly, they are in their 9 day of cases dropping and now have the lowest incidence in the country.

Are the cinemas closed now under Level 3?
