I've seen a few places state you have to order food if going there at certain times. Assuming it's cos with o my a max of 15, better they buy food for the extra money if taking up a space

Does Mitchelstown even though in Cork come under Tipperary or Limerick as very near or Fermoy LEA?

I think a large outdoor market still goes ahead in Mitchelstown weekly

Yes there's a large market every week.

Same, that was 2 weeks ago now. There was 1 case in my son's school 5/6 class(hes in 2nd) only back yesterday. I didnt hear of any other positives in those classes. It was linked to a confirmation.

My daughters pre school's younger group had a case also, her group wasnt deemed close contacts even though they share the same space, but in fairness staff are doing an excellent job. All staff/kids that were tested were negative.

Bodega Bar opposite TK Max have a great set up, we were there yesterday, no problem with numbers at least outdoor seating for 30 people. I counted 22 people seated while there. Fab service and nice Guinness

    Cork Beo

Apple employees working in the company's Cork city centre offices on Lavitt's Quay have voiced their concerns after they say they were told one colleague had tested positive for the covid-19 virus.

The Lavitt's Quay office, next to the Opera House, is the global tech giant's second-biggest base in Ireland, after the huge facility in Hollyhill on the northside which is home to almost 6,000 employees.

Staff who talked to CorkBeo say they were informed earlier this week that one of their colleagues in the office that currently has 300 or so workers had tested positive for covid-19.

Level 3 - Work from Home unless absolutely necessary. Can't see 300 or so people being absolutely necessary to be in the office.

That seems absolutely mad if they are in there. No-one in the office where I work even though we are classed as essential so are allowed to go in if we need to. Can't see how Apple workers being in the office is essential.

This sounds very positive if all the precautionary measures actually worked. They should be giving more examples of this to give people a bit of confidence in the pods and cleaning etc

there are thousands upon thousands of folk who were working from home in March, April etc being told to be at work now all around the country.

We're only allowed in if we have a letter from HR saying we have to be in. There's one person pretty much always in there and he covers maintenance and post etc, and then after that it's only if they're things that need to physically be done, signing cheques, checking on servers and hardware etc.

Bit annoying to see other companies completely ignore it then

That's their Siri team working from there, and there would be data security issues when working off their secure network, but they were working from home during the lockdown. The case that they had was only discovered through their voluntary testing.
