Xbox One X retimer chip repair

Hey, recently my xbox one x stopped displaying any signal when plugged into my tv. After much testing I decided to bring it to GameStop to be repaired.
After 2 weeks I got a call to say my xbox couldn’t be repaired and when talking to the guy at in store he told me that it was an issue with my retimer chip and they could not repair it.

Does anybody know if this can be fixed and if so is there anywhere in Ireland that can fix this?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

Why not ship it back to microsoft for repair?

I tried this recently and you only get only one option at a cost of €274 for replacement for an out of warranty Xbox One X (refurb)

They don't seem to offer to repair any out of warranty consoles anymore.

Might be cheaper to buy a replacement one online if you can't repair it yourself.
