Mothers cousin in London tested positive, over 80YO

She insisted on going out to church and feeding homeless at soup kitchen saying god would look after her.

She’s in isolation at home with temperature and cough.

Silly woman. God may indeed soon be looking after her.

Farming exempt, I think. So staff should be able to work once isolating during the day?

    Tonights update

No travel beyond 2 km radius of your home

Erh if the nearest shop etc is further than 2 km - then what?

You can go to the shops but nothing else outside 2km other than essential work or farming.

    Lockdown from midnight.

It's getting beyond a joke now.

Anyone know of a cert that you get or symbol you can button on your jacket that says I'm over covid.
Is there anywhere that tests if you previously had it and are not a spreader anymore?

Roads have been very quiet the last few days

    Another well delivered message.
    Clear and concise.

Simon does look wrecked though, a man with serious medical issues himself he’d want to be careful.

If anybody has the report that was posted in the Covid thread from the Italian nat health institute it would be interesting to see it? I glanced at it earlier. Very hard to keep up with all the posts...

They're starting testing for antibodies in the UK very soon. The results might not tally exactly with what we've been told.

Since there are clearly a section who get it and are asymptomatic and antigen test may be of use later on. It would allow those go back to work, esp of use with essential services and medical personnel.
But far too early. Lets hunker down and get through this a day at the time. Two family members and a lot of the wider family are medical personnel. Looks like a lot of medical personnel are a major part of those positive, with one dying today.
I'm keenly aware of the risk these people are taking.
