33p per litre where I fill my drums in the north.

33p per litre where I fill my drums in the north.

When you apply the different taxes, that would equate to 45c a litre here and that price should be seen in some places this week.

Oil prices keep falling, we may be sub €400 for 1000l soon. Wasn't too long ago that was the price of 500l.

But the flip side is this shows the economic problems coming, so not really good news

A guy based in the Lifford area. I dont know for sure but Id think he probably wouldnt travel any further than 12 - 15 miles max from base. If you're within that radius let me know and I can PM you a contact number.

So I got a delivery earlier of 800 litres - cost €340. My daughter got 700 litres - cost €300

Each county is a franchise area - up to the specific franchisees to update the site.

Call the local depot and you'll probably find the new lower price is about to kick in

Online, its €509 before code winter20 which gives €20 off to bring it to €489. This code expired yesterday.

    winter20 - Valid 08.01.20 to 20.03.20
    spring20 - Valid 06.04.20 to 14.06.20
    summer20 - Valid 01.06.20 to 31.08.20
    autumn20 - Valid 07.09.20 to 30.11.20

I'm in Clare and the price only dropped to this here yesterday, other places will likely follow next week

    Different franchisees

One possibly got a new delivery yesterday, the other may not get delivery until Monday or Tuesday.

You'll always pay a high price for small deliveries.
Try and get 500L at a time.

Price should fall well below €500 for 1000l in a week or so.

$ to € going from 1.14 to 1.07 dented a bigger drop this week as currency changes take effect almost immediately as it applies when the refined product leaves the refinery. Even if the refinery is in Cork / Wales

    That doesn't make any sense.

I paid 39.9c up north in Saturday. They were doing £ for €.

59c a litre in Laois too from my usual supplier. It was 63c/litre last week, will wait and see what another week brings.

Is there a difference in the quality of heating oil (like petrol/diesel)? The cheapest in my area is €500 for 1000 litres but most reputable company (moreso for road fuels) is dearest at €580 for 1000 litres with a few other suppliers in between that range. €80 is a fair difference but could it be poor quality?
