Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How can I find out my UAN

Moved back into house after renting it out for 18 months
tried to get Vodafone simply fibre installed - they cant do it as a "previous" provider has "registered the connection" and I need the UAN in order for Vodafone to cancel this and set me up.

Considered Gigabit but this requires road outside being dug up - this isnt an option for a few reason so I settled on getting a fibre provider like I had before.

Anyway previous person living in my place messed up the house and will not cooperate in anything with me, including a lot of rent owed - but thats another story. They are not an option for getting the UAN.

Anyway how do I find the UAN to the address? Any help on how I can proceed with this is very much appreciated. :(

You can get a UAN from a bill if there is one sent. Eventually the Broadband will cancel down if not paid and the line will become free. I know Sky have a system where they try to contact the previous owner 3 times. If they don't hear back they will get the services on the line cancelled and a new one set up.

If you cant get the old account holder to cancel the service then Vodafone(or any other OLO) need to apply to have the line ceased as an abandoned service (theres a name for them, cant remember it). It takes over a month. Then you submit your order. So 2months to get connected is very possible.
