Sky Fibre vs. Vodafone Fibre

    Hi all,

    I've had Vodafone 1gb Fibre for just over a year now, very good speeds and no drops in service, no complaints at all. Priced at €55 per month.

    Sky have a deal on claiming the same 1gb speeds for €35 for 12 months.

    Does anyone have good/bad experiences of Sky? I should note that the exchange or whatever you call it is very close to my house, my ping is around 1ms or 2ms. I also won't be going near a usage cap any time soon. I just want fast reliable broadband for 4k streaming and some gaming.

    Any thoughts?

    Just switched from Vodafone to Sky ...

    I don't use my modem for wifi ... so was a simple swap.
    Vodafone disconnected a few hours before the postman arrived with the Sky router.

    Mine isn't 1GB ... just regular fibre but same process should apply.

    The way the providers have gone looks like I will doing the same every 12 months.

    Hi lads,

    Im about to sign up to SIRO and going on the prices, im considering either Vodafone or Sky. My main concern is who offers best speed, modem and overall service? Im not planning on adding tv or anything so my query is soley broadband. Could someone advise or know which is best?
