UK phrase was the “reasoning behind school closure is weak”. PHET quoting EU Disease control centre advice was that social distancing should be entered into quickly rather than delayed.

I’d say most Irish people are very glad that sovereignty rests in Dublin, not London.

Walked into dunnes on George's street to see if I could pick up a few small bits.

Rammed with people. Everyone standing on top of each other in the queues, loads of people coughing away.

I probably wandered about longer than I should have before bailing and heading home.

I don't see how people think the shops won't be open or stocked over the next few weeks.

Now at least 24,000 cases in mainland Europe, almost 1/3 of China's epidemic total in about a week. There were almost no cases in Europe 14 days ago, just a few hundred in Italy.
