Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I went for a walk in Shanghai at 6 in the morning . I had breakfast in a local place.
I had meat something. Tasty but now knowing a bit more about what they eat in China I shudder to think what it was :(

Ha, no. I have a determination to eat everything (and yes you can tell by looking at me:pac:) but also I get a weird sense of pride eating things that kill humans. I am therefore very much into eating snake and tarantula as soon as I can.

Food in Chatuchak Market in Thailand, stuff sitting out in the boiling sun.

My wife used to laugh at me, I'd brush my teeth with bottled water to avoid the shítes but eat any crap on the side of the road.

First they came for the socialists...

Well, I don't know anyone who eats snakes, so if I ate snake then I'd know.

I usually find some creme fraiche takes the edge off the bitterness.

I'm an arachnaphobe and have this weird irrational fear of accidentally eating a spider. I actually feel nauseous typing that. I'm afraid of you.

It was the white asparagus that piqued my interest more so than more exotic items, I think I had it once or twice but not here. Does it have the wonderful side effect of it's green cousin?
