Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone bought one of these?
I'm thinking of buying one, would you recommend it?

Can't comment on that model of vacuum from Lidl but I've owned the larger 30litre version (has a metal body for dust collection) over 4 years now. Bought when building my house and it is without doubt one of the best purchases I made. I've used it for cleaning up masonry, saw-dust, water (when cleaning out my rainwater tank), grease and goo from a grease-trap, pulling pull-cord through long ESB pipes, everything.

I've abused it by letting the drum fill almost to the top with water and wetting the motor but the thing just keeps on going. My brother heard me praise it and asked me to pick one up for him last October. He's also a fan. If you have the space to store the larger model I'd take that instead. More power, better suction. You can also use the socket on it to run other tools off e.g. if working a jigsaw, you can plug this into the vacuum socket and every time you pull the trigger on the jigsaw the vacuum comes on. Very handy.
