Easier to write here, but that island is awesome. I'm only a few days in and don't have paths or anything, so getting to see a properly laid out island, with flowers and all that stuff, was great. Really appreciate the fruit

Aw *blush* thanks! But there are many islands way nicer than mine. But it’s not a competition. The whole game opens up once you get 3 stars and terraforming (paths, water & land). It’s designed to last a year so don’t feel rushed!

I've decided to open my island as I've just caught another coelacanth (three tonight) in case someone wants to give it a go. Bring your bait as you'll need it!

I found all three of mine by fishing from the pier.

This has been a life saver for me, I've dug too much land the last two days, terraforming the same block over and over again as I don't turn the analog stick enough or too much X.X
anyway, it gives the dimensions for buildings, which is handy when you're moving everything.

Nice. I did the same by digging holes to figure out the dimensions and then use the ‘let me imagine it’ option when placing the housing kit - just to make sure it didn’t overrun the fencing and flowers I want the house to sit inside.

I’ll be working but I can leave the gates open and anyone who needs can wander in (I think that’s how it works).

Daisy is wandering the beaches in the bottom left of the island. A vaulting pole will help you get over quicker (I only have one bridge to date...)
