A lot of the setups I've seen (and made) do look creepy until they are occupied. Until someone is using the setup, it's like something out of a horror story, a table laid for dinner, pot boiling on the stove but nobody in the house. Like the Marie Celeste.

That said, I've made a dungeon with flayed bodies (anatomical model) on fire, skeletons, a creepy gnome and an occupied jail cell and it's not as creepy as I'd like :( I even have a record player in the shape of a skull with glowing eyes. Hrmph.

Do you have the creepy song playing on the creepy record player? We have KK dirge in the castle ruins. I wasn't happy when the guys put on a concert of it in the plaza :(

As far as I've noticed I've never had any shooting stars let alone a whole meteor shower on my island :(

I haven’t been playing as much as I’m back at work the past week.

I feel sad about this. :(

I didn’t get a chance to buy turnips this week. :pac:

Can I take the stacked magazines, the hyacinth wreath, rose wreath and fruit wreath?

My villagers aren't a fan of wreaths, musn't have the right personalities!

40 star fragments after last night's shower. Pretty happy with that haul as I rarely get shooting stars.

Nice one. So the ‘extra’ stars for visitors seems to be true?

Ah yeah, you have to dig them up. I’m OK money wise so sometimes I just sell the ‘unchecked’ fossils to the nooks so I don’t have to visit blathers. Only worth a few hundred like that

There is a nook miles achievement for getting fossils assessed though if you a completionist! The final one is 500 so bit of a slow slog

It would seem to all add up. I read that a max of 20 for your own wishes and then 1 fragment per 5 wishes of visitors, again up to a max of 20.

Ahh, that answers a question I had. Someone opened up during a meteor shower the week before last and I saw around 50-60 but only got (I think) around 18-20 the following day (over the course of the day). I figured there was a cap but didn't how they calculated it. 20 per person visiting makes sense.

20 max for yourself and then it's 1 fragment per 5 wishes up to a max of 20 irregardless of how many visitors you have. So max 40 altogether from what I can gather.

I was picking up stars off the beach all day after that meteor shower but I have no idea how many I got in the end

Think the pine bonsai is an autumn recipe

Was someone looking for a tricera skull on here? I found one today if whoever needs it is still looking

I've been waiting on the pine bonsai myself. Think it's an autumn craftable so unless you know a time traveller or somebody from the southern hemisphere we'll have to wait. Think when we had cherry blossom they had pinecones....

Star Lord got the pine bonsai recipe from someone coming to sell turnips or something once. But you need pinecones to craft it.

Further update on star fragments. I logged in as the other player on my island who didn't wish on any stars last night but collected a further 20 fragments as this player. Dropped them in my garden to use as the other player is rarely used and doesn't have any recipes.

They'll drop in the autumn I'd imagine. I have a few recipes like that, have to wait it out.

So nice, something to keep you playing!

I used to love winter in old games too when you'd make snowmen, although it was hard to get them the right shape! My villager Erik has lots of furniture made of ice so maybe we can get these recipes in the winter.
