Have you ever had to call 999? (112)

I had to ring 999 last year , pure panic and it took me a few minutes, couldn't unlock my phone, dropped my phone and had to dial a few times due to getting the number wrong because I was shaking so much, it was like a nightmare.

Are you good in an emergency situation or do you fall apart?

What is the bravest thing you have done?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

I think bravery is relative to what you find you’re fearful off. Not sure if I’m brave but I did risk myself to save others on a few occasions.

What’s your go to happy song ?

No, I like a plan. I don’t mind changing plans if the situation requires it, but I hate being unprepared.

Maybe a kilometer or so, provided I didn’t have to maintain a certain pace

EDIT: oops didn’t see the above, nah I’d be fairly skeptical of conspiracy theories like that

Quite young. I remember kissing a lot as a younger me:eek:
I'm much more selective with who I'm kissing as an adult though.

Had four and a half grand’s worth of stuff stolen from an apartment we rented in Berlin 10 years ago (laptop, DSLR camera, lenses, iPod, etc etc). We were eating in a restaurant down stairs in the same building at the time. Scary thing was I went up during the meal to change my daughter’s nappy. Could easily have walked in on them while holding a 9 month old baby in my arms. Didn’t have travel insurance, but fortunately, our home insurance (on our house in Ireland) paid for everything. And even more fortunately, I had backed up all the photos on the laptop for the first time ever just before we went. Absolutely irreplaceable stuff, and I’ve been obsessive about backups since.

Do you own an axe or hatchet?

Haughey. Absolute clown who was just in it to feather his own nest. I grew up near his mother and sister - lovely people, don’t know where they got him from.

Have you ever voted for some one or some thing in a referendum and later regretted it?

Pool, if thats considered a sport. It was closed for the first lockdown, opened back up for few weeks, then closed again.

Which sport would you like to play if you don't already play it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,227 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Hurling

Would you consider sumo wrestling an athletic sport?

I don't know. It wouldn't be something I'd be interested in anyway.

Would you consider Parkour a sport?

No wouldn’t consider it a sport but do think it has many sporting qualities.

What’s the chances of snow this winter?

Probably February or March as recent trends show.

    Do you have good skin?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,119 ✭✭✭Gregor Samsa

It stops all my insides from falling out, so I guess it’s doing its job. I don’t have any spots or flaky bits. I don’t do anything to it except wash it with soap and water. Is that good skin? To be honest, I don’t ever think about my skin.

Do you suffer from weekend headaches?
