Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you are familiar with Zoom, is there a way of getting more than 4 chatters on the one screen?

there is indeed as I saw in action on friday when we were talking to my aunt in the nursing home, it involves sending out a link of some sort

:EDIT: Start your Zoom meeting as the host. Click the arrow to the right of Share Screen, then select Multiple participants can share simultaneously. This allows multiple participants to share their screen at the same time. Note: Zoom Rooms and participants using the Zoom mobile app can only share if no one else is sharing.

    Was that helpful?

Do you know anyone who talks in their sleep?

    Ever get sleep paralysis ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,050 ✭✭✭Ruby Ring

    No

What's the most embarrassing thing you've been told you have said in your sleep?

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 80,795 Mod ✭✭✭✭Sephiroth_dude

I was in London visiting my brother and we were sharing a room and he told me during the night he woke up because I was shouting "I am a pretty lady"

    Embarrassing or wha eh?

    It ebbs and flows IMO.

    No, not at all.

Are you missing pubs or restaurants or shopping more?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,546 ✭✭✭✭Poor Uncle Tom

No, I have a pub but I'm not even using it, I don't like shopping unless it's for tools or hardware.

Do you like the slower pace of everything now?

Are you good at giving people advice?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

I like to think so but in reality - probably not.

Would you ask anyone for advice?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Yes, never used to but recently I have, and it helps you grow closer. And shows insight into things you were blind to.

What online non grocery shop do you use the most often?

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 80,795 Mod ✭✭✭✭Sephiroth_dude

    Amazon

    You?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

    Amazon and ebay.
Would not be doing online grocery shopping at the moment though. Leave the delivery slots free for the old and infirm.

Did you get any post today?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

None at all. Never had a tooth pulled or a filling in my life and I want it to remain that way as long as possible.

    Scariest dream you had?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

The usual one where you are falling falling falling splat.

Have you taken to cutting or dying your own hair yet during this lockdown?

    Scariest dream you had?

That I was a wwii pilot and my plane was on fire and I nosedived into a crowd of people running from my crashing plane and could see an older man and little girl that I was heading straight for covering their faces in terror and feeling an overwhelming guilt that i was about to kill them. I was about 8 when I had this dream and I've never forgotten it.

Any idea what that dream meant?

No fizzy drinks, I don't like them and have to be careful of myteeth after chemo drugs a few years ago affected my bone density.

I cant remember scariest, I've had lots.

No idea, mood cow :( scary and haunting.

Did you have a nice summer last year? And in what ways?

I just moved to Ireland from downunder after a decade. Spent weeks in West Clare taking it all in. I then freaked out and left again. Visited East coast USA and had a great time. Came back in time for great weather. 7/10 summer for me :)

Do you prefer summer or winter?

Summer, a million times over. Early to midsummer...
If you had to choose between cold or wet weather, which would you choose?

Cold. It seems to agree with me.
Will you go to the pub first night when they reopen?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

No. I'm not pushed about pubs and Im the world's lightest wight drinker. Maybe some summer evening I might feel like catching up with friends witha cold cider.

What are you missing being able to do?

Not literally but not far off it, my spiritual beliefs are essentially nature worship.

    Are you?

I must admit that I did hug a tree in my garden today (just felt like doing it)

    Have you any house plants?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I've about 10, I really like the variegated white and green ones. Ive finally learned not to kill them with kindness.

    Same question?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

    No house plants.

What's your view of Irish trad music?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

It can sound like the same song over and over again.
    Ever read/listen to Irish folklore?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch
