Lie on the side affected for as long as possible?
Also, be aware that water trapped in your inner ear can cause an infection.

To some extend of course. Advertising in most instances targets a market audience. That is to say it exploits desires. Maybe exploits is too strong a descriptor but nevertheless the targeted persons' desires good or bad are perpetuated.
